dj jazzy jane performs the fountainview rap

Picture
During Halloween in 2003, we were caught up in the spirit of the season and dressed Mike's Mom as a Hip Hop Rapper, wrote some lyrics and the rest, as they say, is film history. As a testament to Jane's great sense of fun, this was performed even though she was suffering from Parkinson's disease. She had just moved from Tampa to live near us in an Assisted Living facility called Fountainview. Supporting cast includes Ron & Mike as the 'Hunter Street Ho's', Beardsley the dog and our announcer was Uncle Bob. We've included the "Fountainview Rap" lyrics here.

DJ Jazzy Jane

Direct from Lake Wobegon

From November 2013 in the Pensacola living room of Mike's sister, Shelley, a stellar performance by Jim Larson and a family friend on the 'saw'. This performance has 'Prairie Home Companion' written all over it.
Thanks...for the memories.

I will survive

This is an oldie but goodie. One of our favorite You Tube videos.

Bob The drag queen

One of our very favorite things to do is the RSVP Caribbean Cruise. It's an amazing week and they always have incredible entertainment. During their 30th Anniversary cruise in February of 2015, Bob The Drag Queen performed this little number. We had the chance to meet Bob on several occasions and went to every performance. What a talent! He recently won the 2016 Ru Paul's Drag Race. This video is over 8 minutes long and starts slow but stick with it, it's worth it and very funny. Look for us sitting in the front row the first time they cut to the audience. Hit it!
