Arrived for one of our longest stays, a month in one location to Jan 5, 2017. Orangeland RV Park is in a great location, about 10 min to Disneyland in Anaheim, around 20 min or so to the Beach towns on the Pacific or to Los Angeles. Being developed on old citrus groves, we have orange, tangerine, and grapefruit trees right outside the coach laden with ripe fruit, free for the picking... fresh squeezed OJ every morning, baked red grapefruit just before dinner! Orange also has an "Old Town" with great boutique shops and unusual restaurants of every variety. Chapman College is right next door so many places are very lively and budget friendly. One of our first restaurant experiences was at the 'Packing House', a quirky complex of unique eats and shopping. Traffic? Well, that's another story altogher.
We met a really fun couple, Amy & Jason, who are currently living in the park several doors down from us and working in Pasadena. We invited them for Sunday brunch one morning and enjoyed Mike's 'now famous' Sausage Gravy and Biscuits along with Bloody Mary's (extra slutty!). They belong to the local "German Club" and we went there for dinner with them the following week.
